What we keep

Short version: an email address if you vote, and nothing else that identifies you.

If you vote or suggest a shirt

We store the email address you type, the shirts you voted for, and the dates you first and last used the site. The address is what stops one person voting fifty times, which is the only reason we ask for it.

Your address is never shown on the site. It is not published, sold, rented, or shared with any brand, retailer, or advertiser. Nobody but us can read it.

We will not email you unless you tick the box. Voting on its own does not sign you up for anything. If you do tick it, you get an email when the results of a wash test are published, and every one of those has an unsubscribe link.

If you just read the site

No account, no login, no comment system. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits, which sets a cookie and records the usual things: pages viewed, rough location from your IP address, and the kind of device you are on. There are no advertising trackers and no third-party pixels.

Affiliate links to Amazon and other retailers carry a tag that tells them the visit came from here. Once you land on their site you are subject to their privacy policy, not ours. The disclosure page explains how that works and how we make money.

Getting your address removed

Email and ask, and it is deleted the same day. Your votes stay in the totals, detached from you. You do not need to explain why, and nothing else on the site changes for you afterward.

Where it lives

Vote records sit in Cloudflare Workers KV. The site itself is static files on Hostinger. Both are in the United States. This is a one-person site run out of New Jersey, not a company with a data department.
